YES, you may pre-pay funds into several tickets when ordering them by selecting the amount associated with each ticket.
If you did not pre-pay funds into your ticket upon purchase, you may do so subsequently by returning to the BSAS2017 online ticket office and entering into your account (you will find the connection information in the message that you received after purchasing the tickets).
Furthermore, know that you may use several cards to settle food or drink (a practical feature when the balance of a card is not sufficient for a purchase).

The cashless system functions using an electronic smart card that you receive upon admission to the air show in exchange for your ticket.

You may pre-pay funds into the card on the Internet to avoid queues at the recharge counters during the air show.
Your admission ticket does not show the amount that may have been pre-paid into it, since you may also pay funds into it later.
The transaction receipt shows the amounts pre-paid into each ticket.

The BSAS 2017 committee wishes to improve the visitor experience by reducing the queues at food and drinks vendors’ stands.

Moreover, handling change is a complex problem at an event such as the BSAS 2017, which stretches over more than a kilometre in length (since each checkout must always have enough cash available to make change for purchases made).
The introduction of a cashless system makes it possible to concentrate “charge” type of cash transactions (often by credit card) and enables visitors possessing a pre-paid card (to which funds are added when purchasing the ticket or afterwards) to directly settle food and drink.
You may thus avoid pointless queues  so that you may best enjoy the show.

YES: if you have not spent all the funds that you pre-paid into your card, you may request a reimbursement of the amount during the week following the air show (for a charge of CHF 3.-).
Just visit the BSAS 2017 website and enter your cashless smart card number, name and IBAN number.
We will reimburse you the amount in the months following the air show.
Please note that the bank charges a transaction fee of CHF 3.- that will be deducted from the reimbursed amount, which is why a minimum amount is necessary for the transaction.

YES, you may settle refreshments using several cards. This is a practical solution when the balance of one card is not sufficient to settle a purchase, or in case of a shared payment among friends.

YES, it’s normal. Since it is possible to transfer funds later to the same ticket, it is not pertinent to show the amount pre-paid to the initial ticket.
However, your purchase receipt shows the funds pre-paid into the ticket.

YES, if you have not pre-paid funds to your card in advance or if you have spent all the funds pre-paid into your account, you may do so using your credit card, Maestro or Postcard – or cash – at any of the many recharge counters throughout the event area near the food and drink vendors.

NO, cash may not at all be used for consumption purchases on the air show premises.
However, you may pre-pay funds into your smart card at a recharge counter, located near the food and drink vendors.

YES, smart cards are transferable within the air show premises (this is not the case for VIP bracelets). A smart card is not registered under one name.
However, it is not valid for several admissions into the air show premises (see FAQ May I leave the air show during the day and come back?).

YES, you may leave the air show if necessary. However, your departure must be validated in order for you to be able to come back into the event.

CAUTION: for security reasons, a smart card that has not been validated upon departure cannot be considered valid for admission into the air show under any circumstances.

If you do not have access to Internet or a printer (in order to print tickets at home), or if you do not possess a credit or payment card, you may place an order by email to contact@breitlingsionairshow.com, specifying the tickets that you would like to purchase.
We will print the tickets for you and send them to you after receipt of your payment of the invoice.
CHF 20 in handling fees are applied to this type of order.
If you do not have access to a printer, you may request that the tickets be sent through the post for CHF 4.90.
The Sion Tourist Board sells tickets for the BSAS2017.
Tickets to the air show will be available on-site on Friday the 15th, Saturday the 16th and Sunday the 17th of September 2017.

When you arrive with your ticket at the entrance to the BSAS 2017, you will receive an electronic smart card.
If you have pre-paid funds to a ticket, the card that you will receive in exchange for the ticket will be automatically charged up with the amount of funds that you chose.
No action on your part is required.
Cashless payment is very simple and rapid. Just present the card when settling food or drink. No PIN code is required.
If you did not pre-pay funds into your account when purchasing the ticket, you will receive an empty card. You will need to visit a recharge counter (called a “bank”) to pre-pay funds into your account before you are able to pay for refreshments.

Our volunteers will not be able to sell you food or drink if there are no funds on your card.

If your order failed when you were on the payment page of a partner bank, this means you encountered a problem that may be related either to your payment card (blocked card, insufficient funds, limit reached, etc.) or to your login identification (3D Secure or another password).

In any case, it cannot be a problem internal to the ticket sales, and we cannot help you.

If you bought a pass, know that it is a single ticket valid for 2 or 3 days.
You must print the ticket at home like a normal day ticket.
When you enter the event for the first time and your paper ticket is scanned, you will receive a smart card valid for the full duration of your pass (Friday/Saturday, Saturday/Sunday or Friday/Saturday/Sunday).
This card is valid for admission to the air show as well as for cashless consumption.
If you pre-paid funds into your card upon purchase of your pass, the amount will be automatically transferred to the account.
Otherwise, you may charge your card at any of the counters located here and there throughout the event area.
WARNING: Your pass ticket will not be scannable a second time; you will need to use your card instead.
